Department of Planning and Survey in Umm Al Qaiwain working in the framework of the new strategic plans to create a dedicated system and more responsive to the basic requirements of the Emirate of Umm Al Quwain, which increased the local community.
And that one of the main objectives of the restructuring efforts that we are facing is to provide the level of service that meets the needs of the population and enhance business prosperity and development projects in the emirate of Umm Al Quwain by improving procedures and facilitate the transfer of expertise and the development of laws on services department, which in turn contribute to the development of the human staff and increasing the efficiency and skill employees by providing the necessary training which is based on the latest technological methods in line with the growing development requirements and provide excellent local services to residents of the Emirate of Umm Al Quwain help raise the standard of living and secure prosperity and development in the emirate.
The department since it was founded contributed in the development and modernization of the general plan of the emirate which helped to meet the future needs especially residential land, and the department took into account may be embodied all service facilities that meet the needs Aleghantin, and cooperated department with the Ministry of Infrastructure Development in the field of road maintenance other or create new ways to new residential areas , also collaborated with the Ministry in the development of the entrance of the emirate, which will meet the needs and traffic movement for several years to come as the department is one of the goals the launch of a project addressing through the naming of streets and numbering of buildings all over the emirate.
